Personality and Style Can Make a Good Wedding, Great!
What a great way to start out 2009. Two brides who put their own personal touches and personality into their wedding to make it some thing fun and memorable.
Michelle and Matthew Turner blew away their guests with a surprise first dance. NOBODY saw this coming (except for the DJ, photographer and I). The Turner wedding was the talk of the town around the water bubbler on Monday after the bride and groom let their personalities out for a non-traditional end to their first dance (see first clip below). This bride and groom planned their day right, and just let the day flow. And, they enjoyed every minute of it. Michelle and Matt trusted their vendors all day and they had a GREAT wedding. Besides the first dance, the groom took pre-wedding pictures on the construction equipment outside their church, they stopped for photos on some motorcycles and then both the bride and groom danced the night away (brides and grooms drive the dance floor!). It was their personality! It was their wedding! It was my pleasure to have taken a part in the Bedor-Turner wedding. I will put the full dance on the blog once the Turners get their complete video.
Just two weeks before that, Alexa and Marty put their special touch on their first dance, as they brought in family friend Ashley Gearing to sing their first song acoustically. The teenage country singer belted out Lost in this Moment by Big and Rich, as the McCabe’s danced for the first time as a married couple. In addition to adding some personal touches for Marty’s daughter Amber, the newly married couple let the day flow with a variety of big group pictures during the photo session, as well as some fun and different poses during their one-on-one time. The bride and groom also opened the dance floor for 30 minutes before dinner to give their guests a break after a Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club cocktail hour that offered multiple delicious stations of food. They never looked flustered, or panicked as the day just flowed to perfection. What will be the signature of your wedding? The clips below are two brides who did it right!
